Hello, and thank you for stopping by. Allow me to tell you a little about myself and why I do what I do.
I wear multiple hats as a photographer. Let's start with the first hat.
I have always been drawn to the beauty of the outdoors. The majestic mountain peak, the still waters of a quiet lake that run deep, the raging wrath of churning ocean waves, or the meticulously constructed splendor of a magnificent city. Through my art, I aim to convey the awe, wonder, joy, and tranquility that course through me every time I experience nature. My love of the outdoors has leant itself naturally to my interest in landscape photography. I usually pair my images with self-composed prose or verse. Just as the flavor of food is enhanced by its pairing with a fine wine, so, I believe, is the experience of viewing an image enhanced by the words that accompany it. They simultaneously anchor the viewer to my state of mind, while guiding them along the river of emotions I navigate as I experience each vista and create each image.
I am also deeply interested in helping people capture cherished events in this crazy, rushed world we inhabit. That's the second hat.
People are beautiful, and each individual story is unique. As a portrait photographer, I have the privilege of connecting with people in their times of greatest joy. I am entrusted with preserving fleeting moments of profound importance in their lives as they celebrate love, welcome new life, and make memories that last entire lifetimes.
And finally, the third hat.
Beyond our little world, our tiny home planet, we are part of a grand universe. I have been fascinated with space since I was a child. Technology today gives me the ability to be an astrophotographer and capture images of the cosmos to showcase the incredible magnificence of the reality we inhabit.
I invite you to join me as we journey through beauty - the beauty of Earth’s magnificent landscape realms, the beauty of the human soul, and the beauty of space.
Thank you for your time.
